CORRESPONDENCE
A letter of greeting was received from Eileen and Peter Irish outlining the positive
happenings of the Parish Partnership in Ministry Project to date and affirming their
belief in the Project with a gift of $200.00 toward the Project.
FOLLOW-UP ON BUSINESS
1. Architects checklist. Local architect D. Kochel has loaned us reference books
to assist in our planning.
2. Bank account. A bank account has been set up at Scotiabank in the name of
River Valley Anglican Parishes for the Parish Partnership in Ministry Project.
3. Time Line. Work is continuing updating the detail time line in the form of text
and chart. A Project Progress Time Line has also been prepared which is a graphic
illustration of milestones. C. Patstone was thanked for his continuing efforts keeping the
detail time line current.
4. Trust fund information. This information continues to be gathered.
5. Property ad. The ad in local news publications has not been placed pending
dialogue on specific local properties.
6. 22 September 02 Worship. The problem facing the Worship Planning Team preparing
for this service is lack of a facility which will seat in access of 225 parishioners at a
convenient time and without 2 or 3 hours required for set up. By motion the joint Parish
Worship Service on 22 September 2002 will be at St. Matthew Roman Catholic Church at 9:00
a.m. unless they encounter scheduling difficulties.
7. July Report to the Bishop. Copies were circulated to the Steering Group members.
The Report outlined Project progress to date.
8. Books. "Raising the Roof" (A. Mann) books have been received. These
books are intended as reference for Steering Group members. By motion the cost of these
books will be debited to the Parish Partnership in Ministry Project and attempts will be
made to recover the cost from parishes.
